Casual Ruffles…

 In Fashion

Happy Thursday! Hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far. The dress I’m wearing in today’s post is comfort to the max! I love this dress for many different reasons, but the biggest being the length of time you can wear it for and still be comfy! I wore this last week to work during the day with a cute pair of heeled mules and then left work and headed to the Luke Bryan concert. All I needed to change were my shoes (into some comfy converse). The price point is great as well and it comes in a few different color options.

My boots and my backpack were both purchases that I made during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. I have worn these boots a few times now and I always get so many compliments on them. They are simple, yet trendy with the silver toe detail and the low height. They look great with skinny jeans and dresses alike. My backpack is super functional. With being a Mom, I’m always looking for bags that can sub in as my diaper bag as well. This one is perfect because there’s a ton of space on the inside and it doesn’t look like a total Mom bag 🙂 The price point on this bag is also great. It comes in a taupe color as well.

In other news- we are headed to my parents house in Upstate NY for Labor Day and I’m so excited to do some fall packing. It’s always a little cooler there than it is here in Richmond, so Labor Day always feels like my first official kickoff to fall. I’ve purchased some great sweaters for fall, so stay tuned for some new posts!

Hey, Liz! I went to buy this dress and noticed the bottom ruffle on your sleeve looks different than the images on Nordstrom’s site. Did you have yours altered?

Hey Kelly! Thanks for catching this- I actually linked the wrong dress! Here’s the correct link. Let me know if this one works better. Thanks for catching that!
